We held our 90th Anniversary Gala Dinner in style at the Government House. We were graced by the Hon. Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, Mrs. Carrie Lam, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr. Edward Yau, DG Eric, DGE Keith, DGEN Norman and other VIPs. The event was held in accordance with the new Category D regulations whereas all staff had to be fully vaccinated, and all attendants vaccinated for at least one jab. Mrs. Carrie Lam greeted us, advised that the Government House has not held similar events for the past 18 months and claimed the event to be the “beginning of return to normal” for the Government House and hopefully Hong Kong in the post covid19 era. We in RCOHK hope that it will also be the beginning of return to normal for Hong Kong.
